Terms & Conditions

As a member of The Wedding Partners you will abide by the guilds Code of Conduct as stated below.

  1. You will complete a full years membership unless in the unlikely event you wish to step down which will be required in writing, however no refunds would be given for termination of membership, breach of Terms and Conditions, and Code of Conduct.
  2. Members who fail to comply with the high standards set out in the Code of Conduct or who bring The Wedding Partners name into disrepute, will have their membership terminated.
  3. As a member you will endeavour to provide the highest quality of workmanship and integrity in every aspect of the services you provide, with a professional manner, giving due regard to presentation and delivery of customer service.
  4. You will be able to provide suitable documentation relative to the type of work and level of services that your business provides. As a member you will respect yours and other member's customer's confidentiality and where records are kept, should ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1984.
  5. You should have professional indemnity, public liability and employer's liability wherever appropriate.
  6. In the unlikely event of a customer complaint, you will be obliged to co-operate with The Wedding Partners committee to resolve the situation to a satisfactory outcome.
  7. As a member you will have proven that you have reached a standard of excellence and will be able to supply any references; giving the couple peace of mind that their wedding day is in capable hands with people upon whom they can depend.
  8. The Wedding Partners will aim to organise a major exhibition each year, where brides can view the products and services on offer and meet the members to discuss individual requirements. Members will be required to support any exhibition held with their attendance.
  9. The Wedding Partners will be made of only 1 company from each area within the wedding industry. If you trade in more than one type of business, then you must declare it to the committee as your other area of business may impact on another member's services.
  10. As a member you agree to add a link to The Wedding Partners web site within 1 month of your application acceptance. Failure to do so will be deemed as a breach of Terms and Conditions.
  11. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
